Everything you need to submit to Utah to get your Utah LTC is provided in class except for Utah’s fee to apply which is $63.25. This is a separate fee from the class so bring your check book or credit card. We supply everything you need to drop your packet in the mail when you leave the class. One night and you’re done!
Class comes with Utah BCI certified materials and certificate suitable for framing. This class will cover: Application process (fingerprints, passport photos) and paperwork, current Utah laws defining lawful self-defense, basic firearm safety, use of force by private citizens including use of deadly force, transportation, and concealment in Utah.
Note: The UTAH non-resident license is NOT honored in Florida.

- Must be 18 or older
- Must have and bring to class a valid driver’s license
- Cannot have a felony on your record
- Must be a US citizen
- If you were born outside the states you will need to bring your INS number and/or passport.
Class Logistics
Class Logistics
All students to arrive at 51 Winthrop St unit 1 in Rehoboth between 5:45 and 6:00pm. Given the time of the class you are welcome to bring dinner. The first part of class is taking and processing passport photos, fingerprinting, and making copies of licenses so bring a book or some form of entertainment for about 45 minutes.
My wife and I recently attended the Utah non resident LTC course at Patriot. Bill Dalpe is an extremely thorough easy going instructor that makes learning simple. His demeanor and knowledge makes the course fly by. This is my second course with Bill and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I highly recommend Patriot for any and all training related to firearms. Their passion for ensuring our constitutional rights are kept along with the responsibilities we have as firearm owners is truly inspiring.

I really appreciate how all I have to do after class is drop off an envelope in the mail. I took a Utah class before that still required me to go get fingerprints and passport photos and I ended up never doing it and having the certificate expire. This class does all the work for you and is definitely worth the money.
Took my first class last night at Patriot to get my UTAH license. It was simple and truly a one stop and done. Perfect! Bill is an incredible instructor. His technique was interactive and kept all who attended the class engaged. It is abundantly clear he is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of firearm safety licensing and competency. I look forward to more training with Bill. I highly recommend his firearms school.
This is the second class I've taken at Patriot Firearm School and it won't be the last. Bill is a great teacher who's very thorough and makes the information easy to understand. He also provides you with all the materials needed to apply for your Utah carry permit. Including envelopes and stamps! I highly recommend Patriot Firearms.
