Patriot AR-15 Defense at Riverside Gun Club

This is an 8 hour class held solely at the range and is designed for the person who wants to take their AR-15 defensive skills and efficiency to the next level.

Elevate your live fire skills beyond the static bench rest format. To achieve this we will expose you to neurological conditioning linking your basic skills (physical) to in context (your brain) realistic training. This better prepares you to use these skills under dynamic stress. Become an efficient defender for yourself and your family.

• Gear and AR review
• Zeroing concepts and sighting systems
• Sighted vs unsighted fire review
• Improve your defensive shooting accuracy (evaluation)
• AR malfunctions and how to clear them (Failure drills)
• Multiple target engagement
• To shoot or not to shoot (situational drills)
• Scan and access (360-degree awareness drills)
• Think… think… think (mental drills)
• Move it (shooting on the move drills)
• Other impromptu drills that will build your skills

• Must be familiar enough with your AR to load and unload it
• Must be able to own an AR legally
• Must be 21 or older (exceptions can be made)
• Must provide your own AR (one can be provided)
• Must have one or 2 point sling, no hunting slings (one can be provided)
• Must be a US citizen

All students to arrive at Riverside Gun Club at 16 Wilkins St- Hudson MA 01749 between 8:15-8:30 on the designated day. Safety briefing will be held at 9am sharp. Please bring any refreshment you may think you need. You are expected to bring your own gear including 550 rounds of ammo unless otherwise prearranged at the classroom session. Please wear comfortable clothing. You will get dirty. A detailed e-mail will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the class.
