I have taken a number of classes from Bill. He is dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. He is able to break down activities and communicate why a skill is relevant. He has a good sense of humor and is able to individualize instruction to help facilitate learning.
I’ve taken multiple classes with Bill Dalpe. Each one was great . Practical, applied, fast paced (and tiring), but with an unwavering focus on safety. Highly recommend.
Significant hands on instruction, challenging drills and the figure eight and intro to force on force was physical in nature and got your adrenaline up. Very practical and realistic courses. Other instructors take his class as students. What does that tell you? If instructors go to Patriot to learn as students, that's indicative of a quality training experience.
I've taken several classes with Bill. He is a gifted teacher. It was raining heavily during a good portion of this class (it is MA after all), but Bill found ways to roll with the weather and mix in education / discussion along with range exercises to make the time well-spent. Bill does a good job tailoring the class to the needs and abilities of the specific students. In short, none of it is cookie-cutter. This class also included some simunitions work, which was new to me. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions for simunitions it was a good exercise that really got the adrenaline going. Strongly recommend.
Another in an outstanding series of defensive firearm shooting courses that Bill offers. Bill is an excellent educator with content expertise, and a respectful and supportive teaching style that combine to make learning new skills and practicing older skills fun. Further, he is also appropriately very safety conscious. I look forward to my next course with him.
